Jan Van Daele
From a young age, I was enchanted by the allure of Japan—a land that felt both magical and enigmatic.
That fascination turned into a lifelong passion when I discovered Eiji Yoshikawa’s novel, Miyamoto Musashi. Little did I know, opening the pages of that book would ignite a journey that would profoundly shape my life.
With a master’s degree in Japanology under my belt, I spent seven transformative years in Japan—living, studying, and working in both professional and cultural capacities.
Today, I draw on these rich experiences to help others explore, understand, and connect with the multifaceted beauty of Japanese culture.
