Bells of Gion

As a child I was always fascinated by what at the time seemed as a magical and unknown place called Japan. 

Soon I got my hands on a novel called Miyamoto Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa, little did I know that as I turned the first page of this book, it started  a significant chapter in my live.  

After finishing my masters in Japanology, I spend a total of 7 years living in Japan as both a student and as a professional.

With these experiences under my belt , my aim has become to help others to navigate, understand and appreciate Japanese culture in all it’s aspects.
